I started my law enforcement career with the Ford County Sheriff’s Office in Dodge City, Kansas way back in the 1980’s. Before I was old enough to wear a gun, I rode with deputies every chance I got. I learned a lot from them about developing a bold mindset.

But, it 1988 when I first pinned that badge on my uniform shirt, I was still scared of my own shadow and preferred to sit on the proverbial fence and avoid conflict rather than take a stand for what I truly believed in. I still had a lot to learn. It’s not easy to change that weak and easy frame of mind. But, it does get easier as you continue to put it into practice in various areas of your life. Studying strong leaders such as Theodore Roosevelt, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Robert Kiyosaki can also rearrange the framework of your mindset and help you become a stronger person. Not everyone will like you, but, they will respect you.
